Bed, Baby and Beyond

Kevin made the boys a bunkbed for Christmas this year. Thought I would show off his hard work. Just pretend the bed is made! Travis is still in his crib until Suzanna is out of the bassinet so that is why only Cody is on the bunkbed. Kevin will make the ladder between now and then also! Emma got a new bed also...I will post the headboard he made for her soon... it looks like a picket fence.
What can you say to that? We are in love with our little angel who is 2 months old today! Emma, Cody and Travis are so cute with her. Travis likes to "give her loves." He slobbers all over her head (or tries to)! He runs around the house saying "baby." He doesn't say much so that is a big deal!

What happened to Santa's reindeer

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! We got tons of snow on Christmas and enjoyed playing in it today. The kids are being pulled by the 4-wheeler in the next picture. The sled is connected to the innertube! I think I'll take a ride next time.

The crazy Christmas bunch posing in their pjs. I think the boys look like elves!

This is Kevin's frozen deer!!!! He shot it on a cold evening and hung it in the tree. When he went to skin it it was frozen stiff. He brought it in the garage to thaw and it looks like it is standing up!!!! That was a first for us!

We made a gingerbread house last Monday. The kids had a blast. Travis and Cody love to steal the candy off it when they think I'm not looking! I don't mind them eating some but it is their favorite sport at the moment. Does a gingerbread house remind anyone else of the scary children's book...I forgot it's name...is it Hansel and Gretel?

The kids were so excited to tell Santa everything they want for Christmas. We went to Idaho Falls just for this occasion (and to get a few more things). He was worth the two and half hour drive. Emma and Cody were glad to see him. Travis and Suzanna were indifferent. There was no crying, luckily. Emma told Santa she wants Barbies and Cody wants GI Joe guys and a racetrack. Travis wants whatever Cody gets...I'm sure he'll grab whatever Cody gets and will run away with it laughing!

We're blessed

She's blessed! You could say that about both of us!
