Sorry no pictures this time. We have been deer hunting lately. Kevin is hunting bucks and I am hunting does. Fitting, really! It is fun hunting here because we don't go far. We take the kids and have a good time eating snacks and looking at the changing leaves. The kids are doing great....Emma is loving 2nd grade. She came home one day last week and told us that one of the girls had the best show and tell ever. They all rode two miniature donkeys around the playground! Only in Challis can your kid come home and tell you that they rode a miniature donkey at school. It also made the paper! Cody is loving kindergarten and is learning so much. He didn't get to ride a donkey but he is sounding out many words and can read several. Travis has been so funny lately. He runs around the house with a Burger King crown on his head and his brother's clothes on and sometimes my shoes. I always run to get the camera but I miss it. He is so funny and has such a spark to his personality. He still doesn't talk much but he can now say "stinky", "yucky", "eeww", "tractor", "cow", and many more. He keeps so much to himself but he's a live wire. Suzanna is crawling everywhere and pulling herself up. She says "mom", "up", "baba" and a few more. She will soon catch up with Travis' speech abilities!
Kevin is doing good. Work is still a trial but he is dealing with it well. All the animals have been fun lately. Twinkle (the baby horse) is leading well and likes to be pet by the kids. CJ the old horse is fat and happy also. We are getting ready to slaughter our steer in another month. He is still small but he is getting old. The chickens are crazy and giving us the most beautiful dark brown eggs. Belle the dog is a great companion for the kids. She lets Travis and Suzy climb all over her.
Well that is the update. The missionaries are coming over is 10 minutes so I better finish up dinner. I'll post pics soon.
